Sculpture

My inspiration comes from Heironomous Bosch, politics and the Australian environment. I like to explore these themes within the context of humour and narrative, as the world we live in is full of weird things and absurd events.

I use familiar materials like timber and recycled materials presented in an unfamiliar way , a mixture of creatures objects, banners, flags and boats clamouring on the surface with painterly renderings giving the final form. By using the witty and ironic the humerous pun changes the meaning and compress's the communication
